Late-Night Wallet Snatch in Totton: Man Threatened and Robbed

Police are hunting a masked thief after a 23-year-old man was robbed in Totton late Tuesday night. The victim was forced to hand over his wallet during a brazen street robbery on Rum Walk, the path linking Kinross Road and Brokenford Lane.

Victim Held Up Between 11.20pm and Midnight

The incident happened between 11.20pm and midnight on 12 March. The victim was walking alone when a man approached, threatened him, and demanded his wallet containing £50 cash, a bank card, and a membership card. The victim recalls the attacker may have held something in his right hand but couldn’t make out what it was.

Suspect Description

  • White male, around 30 years old
  • Approximately 6ft tall, medium build
  • Wearing a black hooded jumper and black snood covering mouth and nose
  • Black trousers and black trainers with a white Nike swoosh
