Man Brutally Stabbed to Death in Didcot Estate
A man has been fatally stabbed on a Didcot estate, with two others left fighting for their lives after a violent incident in the early hours. Police swooped on a Mendip Heights property just after 3.45am on Thursday, sparking a massive lockdown.
Area Locked Down as Police Swarm Scene
Residents remain trapped in their homes, some unable to leave for over five hours as officers flood the area. One stunned local said: “Around 10 police vehicles arrived in the early hours. Crime scene investigators and major crime officers are all here.”
An early morning jogger told us he saw officers rushing to the scene but police are tight-lipped, confirming only that “an incident” has taken place.
Fatal Stabbing and Possible Gunshots Reported
Neighbours claim there was a fatal stabbing inside a property and that gunshots were heard during the chaos. Police confirmed three men were attacked during an altercation involving a group of men.
Sadly, the man in his forties died from multiple stab wounds. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support. The other two victims – a man in his twenties and another in his thirties – remain in hospital in serious but stable condition.
