Man in 60s Brutally Attacked on Northern Line Tube
A man in his 60s was left with serious facial injuries after a savage assault on a Northern Line tube train. The victim needed stitches following the vicious attack.
Attack Caught on CCTV Between Leicester Square and Charing Cross
The horror unfolded just after 8:30am on Tuesday, April 2nd, between Leicester Square and Charing Cross stations. Witnesses say a man aggressively pushed past commuters on the platform at Leicester Square before boarding the same train as the victim.
Once on the train, the attacker launched a brutal assault, knocking the victim to the floor. The elderly man suffered severe facial wounds and was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.
Police Release Image of Man of Interest
British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting a key man they believe holds vital clues to this shocking attack. Officers have released CCTV images of a person of interest and are appealing for public help to identify him.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
