Manhunt Underway for Sex Attacker on the Loose in Gosport
Police are hunting a vile sex attacker who struck in Gosport in the early hours of Friday, 5 April.
Victim Left Brutally Beaten in Bittern Close
Between 12:30am and 1am, an 18-year-old woman was walking alone in Bittern Close when a man punched her square in the face. She fell to the ground, but the attacker kept hitting her and tried to undo her jeans.
Desperate, the victim fought back and pushed the attacker away. He then fled the scene.

- Height: About 5’7”
- Build: Slim
- Wearing glasses
- Clothing: Dark hoodie and jeans
Community on Alert
Such brazen attacks are rare, but the victim is understandably shaken. Police urge anyone who witnessed the assault or was driving nearby with dashcam footage to come forward.
