Teen Stabbed to Death in Crawley – Murder Probe Launched

Crawley police have launched a murder investigation after an 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Malthouse Road, near the town’s railway station. The shocking attack happened around 3.21pm, sparking a major emergency response from paramedics and officers.
Desperate Hunt for Suspect Underway
Despite desperate efforts, the teenager died from his injuries. Police are now hunting a male suspect in his 20s, described as having brown skin and wearing dark clothing. A forensic team has set up a tent at the scene, while the National Police Air Service helicopter assists in the search.
Three Arrested, Investigation Intensifies
- A 17-year-old boy from Worthing and an 18-year-old man from Horsham were arrested on suspicion of murder.
- An 18-year-old woman from Crawley is in custody, suspected of assisting an offender.
Detective Chief Inspector Debbie White said: “This is a fast-moving investigation and we urge anyone with information to come forward. We believe this is an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.”
