Police Launch Manhunt After Shocking Westminster Rape
Detectives are hunting a rapist caught on CCTV after a woman was attacked near Piccadilly Circus in the early hours of August 2.
Victim Taken to Alleyway and Assaulted
A woman in her 40s was walking around 3am when a stranger approached her. He forced her into a nearby alley and committed a horrific rape.
Police Release CCTV Images to Identify Suspect
Detective Constable Sue McKenzie said: “A dedicated team are leading this investigation into a despicable offence. We are now appealing to the public to help identify the man in the CCTV images who could assist with our enquiries.”
She added: “Specialist officers continue to support the victim through this traumatic time. If you recognise this man, or if you are him, contact us immediately.”
No Arrests Yet as Investigation Continues
