Gunfire Shatters Calm Near Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage
Police sealed off an area near Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage this evening after reports of gunfire at around 4 p.m. on 3 January.
Met Police Launch Trident Investigation
The shooting took place on Fitzjohns Avenue, NW3. The Met Police’s Trident team, known for tackling gun and gang crime, has taken charge of the probe.
Officers have confirmed no one was injured in the incident. However, the scene remains cordoned off as forensic experts carry out a detailed examination.
Police Seek Witnesses to the Firearm Discharge
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At this time, no arrests have been made. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
