Thief Targets Hinton Shop in Early Morning Raid

Police are hunting a burglar who stole cash from a shop in Hinton in the dead of night. The break-in happened at around 2.45am on Monday, 11 March, at the Hinton Service Station on the busy A35 Lyndhurst Road.

Suspect Description Released

The crook broke into the Best One shop and made off with money. Officers describe the suspect as:

  • Aged between 20 and 40
  • Between 5ft 6in and 6ft tall
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a black Superdry jacket with red/dark pink lining and detailing
  • Black skinny jeans or trousers
  • Black pointed-style shoes and black gloves
  • Carrying a light blue ‘Bag for Life’
