The crash involved a young scooter rider who was travelling with a group of friends. The collision happened on the road heading towards Fareham, right under the railway bridge.

Police shut part of Market Quay roundabout to recover the vehicles and investigate. Paramedics and a land ambulance also attended to the injured rider, who suffered non-serious injuries.
