Fire Tears Through Herne Bay Cars in Central Parade Blaze
A fiery blaze ripped through Central Parade, Herne Bay, on Saturday night, damaging multiple vehicles. Firefighters from the local station battled the flames to bring the situation under control.
Blaze Spreads Quickly, Destroys One Car and Damages Four Others
The alarm was raised at around 8:09 PM when a vehicle was seen engulfed in flames. Fire quickly spread to four nearby parked cars due to their close proximity.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire with a high-pressure hose jet. Sadly, the initial vehicle was completely destroyed. The other four cars suffered from heavy to moderate damage.
Kent Police Assist as Investigation into Fire Gets Underway
Kent Police officers were also on site to help manage the scene and keep the public safe. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported following the blaze.
An investigation is now underway to uncover what sparked the fire and why it spread so rapidly.
