Doncaster Murder Probe Launched After Leeds Man Dies from Night Out Assault
Detectives in Doncaster have opened a murder investigation after a brutal assault in the town centre left a Leeds man dead. Jamie Adam Kelly, 30, tragically died in hospital today following last night’s attack.
Victim Thrown Out, Attacked Outside Vintage Rock Bar
At around 9.40pm on Sunday, Jamie was ejected from the Vintage Rock Bar on Silver Street. Outside, he was involved in a physical fight with three men, suffering serious injuries. Police and paramedics performed CPR at the scene before rushing him to hospital.
Three Arrested, Police Hunting Witnesses
- A 40-year-old from Worksop, a 26-year-old from Nottingham, and a 33-year-old man have all been arrested on suspicion of murder.
- They remain in custody while investigations continue.
- A post-mortem is scheduled for tomorrow.
Detectives thanked members of the public who have already come forward with photos, videos, and information. But they are still urging anyone who was at or near the Vintage Rock Bar during the incident to get in touch.
