Tragic Lucy McHugh to be laid to rest in Southampton
Stacey White, mother of murdered Southampton teen Lucy McHugh, has announced the date for her daughter’s funeral. In a heartbreaking statement, Stacey revealed Lucy’s celebration of life will take place on 27th August at 12 noon at Hollybrook Cemetery, Southampton.
Family invites all who loved Lucy
Stacey welcomed everyone who brought positivity to Lucy’s life to attend the service. Attendees are asked to wear blue and green, Lucy’s favourite colours. Seating inside the chapel will prioritise close family and friends, but a PA system will broadcast the service outside to accommodate more mourners.
Tributes and thanks from the family
The family has requested that any flowers be placed outside the chapel, on the surrounding grass, on the day of the service. Stacey expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported her and the family through this nightmare.
“We continue to hope for justice to be served for my precious baby,” Stacey said.
