Shock Attack on Woman in Farnborough Sparks Hate Crime Probe
Police are hunting four young males after a brutal racially aggravated assault on a woman in her 40s in Farnborough.
Victim Attacked Between Bridges
The victim, of Nepalese descent, was targeted between 6.30pm and 7.45pm on Monday, October 19. She was walking the footpath between Curly Bridge and Cove Brook Bridge when the gang began hurling racial abuse.
Assailants Knock Her Unconscious
Without warning, one of the youths struck her from behind, knocking her unconscious. The woman suffered a bruised face and an injured elbow after the savage assault.
Suspects on Scooters and Bicycles
- The attackers are described as white males, aged 17 to 19.
- One stands out as taller with blonde hair.
- All wore dark clothing and were seen riding electric scooters and bicycles.
