Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted in Wheldrake Sports Field Horror
North Yorkshire Police launch urgent appeal after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at Wheldrake Recreation Centre’s sports field in York. The shocking attack took place at around 3.15am on Sunday, 15 November.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers want anyone in the area between 2am and 4.30am who may have seen or recorded anything to come forward. The appeal includes anyone near the sports fields or nearby streets around Broad Highway, Wheldrake.
Scene Guard in Place as Investigation Ramps Up
A scene guard is currently established at the location while enquiries continue. Detectives are probing the incident to bring the culprit to justice.
