£40k Gold Jewellery Stolen in Bold Wrayfield Road Burglary
Thieves struck a Wrayfield Road home on Wednesday, 11 August, swiping £40,000 worth of gold jewellery while the owners were out all afternoon.
Back Door Forced, Precious Items Taken
Police say the culprit smashed the back door to break in sometime between 1pm and 9.45pm. The victim’s prized gold jewellery was stolen, leaving a trail of damage and heartbreak.

Officers have scoured CCTV footage and interviewed neighbours. Now, they’re putting out pictures of some stolen pieces, urging the public to keep their eyes peeled.
PC Luca Giannotta said: “These items hold huge sentimental value, as well as being worth a lot of money. The victims are desperate to get them back. If anyone has been offered gold jewellery matching these items, please contact police immediately.”
