Police Hunt Man After Suspicious Incident Near Dalneigh Playing Field
A man spotted near Dalneigh playing field on Monday, 18 April, has sparked a police investigation. The slim-built male, aged between 20 and 40, was last seen wearing dark trousers and a black jacket on a footpath close to the area.
Similar Incident Reported a Week Earlier
Authorities reveal a similar event occurred on the afternoon of Monday, 11 April, raising concerns in the local community. Police Scotland are keen to connect the dots between the two cases.
Detective Inspector Pleads for Witnesses
“We understand incidents like this are concerning to the local community and officers are working to trace the man involved,” said Detective Inspector Caroline Mackay from the Public Protection Unit.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen this man on Monday afternoon or anyone with relevant dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage to get in touch.”
“Additional patrols are ongoing in the area to offer reassurance to the local community. Anyone with concerns can approach these officers.”
