Tragedy struck South Shields in the early hours of Saturday after a 25-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a brutal knife attack. Police rushed to a property on Marshall Wallis Road just before 1am to find the victim with severe bladed injuries. Despite being rushed to hospital, he sadly died hours later.
Six Men Arrested After Fatal Stabbing
Northumbria Police launched an immediate investigation and have arrested six men connected to the attack. All suspects remain in custody as cops piece together what happened.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Woods says the force is desperate for any info from the public:
“We want to reassure the man’s family that we are doing all we can to understand the full circumstances which led to this tragedy and bring anyone involved to justice.”
