Late-Night Blaze Destroys Motorbikes and Damages Property on Springfield Road
Fire Erupts in Early Hours
Between 1.30am and 2.30am on Thursday, June 16, 2022, a fire broke out on Springfield Road. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service swiftly arrived to tackle the blaze, which severely damaged two motorcycles and caused harm to a nearby property.
Police Launch Witness Appeal
Detective Constable Lily MacKay of Tonbridge CID said, “We’re appealing for any witnesses or anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area to come forward.”
Authorities are urging motorists with dashcams and residents with CCTV to check their footage for anything that could assist the investigation.
