Woman Attacked and Raped in Alleyway at 1am
A horrific attack took place just after midnight on Sunday, 31 October 2021. A young woman in her 20s was punched and then raped in a dark alley between Alma Road and Berridge Road.
Police Hunt Heavyset Balding Suspect
The suspect is described as a white man of heavy build, balding, wearing a dark grey hoodie and light grey trousers.
Kent Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber said: “We have seized extensive CCTV and forensic evidence. These stranger assaults are thankfully rare, and we are fully committed to a thorough investigation while supporting the victim every step of the way.”
“If you were in the area early on Sunday 31 October, please check any dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage and contact us. Witnesses who saw anything suspicious are urged to come forward immediately.”
