Burglary Panic in Harnham as Intruder Caught on CCTV
Police raced to a Harnham home at 9.30pm after a man was spotted acting suspiciously in a garden on security cameras. When officers arrived, the suspect had vanished — but CCTV revealed a break-in at a garden shed and two storage units.
Chase Ends Near Mill Pub
Officers circulated a detailed description of the suspect, sparking a search across the area. A man matching the description slipped past police on Netherhampton Road but was finally nabbed near the Mill pub by Town Path.
The man, thought to be in his twenties, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken into custody.
More Break-Ins Uncovered
Further police investigations found that more homes along the same road were targeted overnight. Enquiries remain ongoing.
