Woman Chased and Attacked Over Watch in Broad Daylight
Just after 1.30pm on Friday 5 April 2024, a woman was confronted by four men outside Romney Place. They demanded her watch. When she refused, they chased her down the street and assaulted her. Although she suffered bruising to her face, the attackers failed to steal the watch.
Police Release E-Fit Image After CCTV Review
Officers reviewed CCTV footage and carried out house-to-house enquiries. The victim has since helped create an e-fit of a key suspect they want to trace. Police are urging anyone who recognises the man to come forward.
