Woman Harassed on Train by Wine-Wielding Man After Football Match
At just after 6pm on Sunday 6 February, a woman travelling on a train from Crewe to Liverpool faced a terrifying ordeal. A group of football fans boarded at Crewe station after attending a Liverpool fixture, and one man singled her out.
Man Holds Bottle of Wine, Makes Disturbing Advances
The man, holding a bottle of wine, approached the woman and sat beside her. He repeatedly asked for her number before telling her he wanted to kiss her. He then touched her inappropriately. When she demanded he get off her, he chillingly replied, “there is nowhere for you to go”.
Victim Escapes to Safety — Witnesses Sought
Fearing for her safety, the woman moved down the carriage. She stood with two Cardiff City FC fans and a woman who witnessed the incident. Police now want to speak with these people and anyone else who saw what happened.
