Bottle Attack Shakes Canterbury Night

Kent Police rushed to The Friars, Canterbury, at 11pm on Sunday 15 May 2022 after a man was struck by a bottle during a row with three men.

Victim Treated and Released

Officers and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene. The injured man was taken to a local hospital and has since been discharged.

Police Hunt Two Suspects

Descriptions of two suspects have been released:

  • Suspect One: Around 5’6″, slim build, black. Wearing black trousers, a light top, a baseball cap, and a dark jacket.
  • Suspect Two: Over 6 feet tall, heavy build, black. Wearing light-coloured trousers and a black jacket with a logo on the back and slogan on the front.

Witnesses Urgently Needed

Kent Police want to speak to anyone who saw the incident. They are especially keen to find one bystander who appears not to have been involved but witnessed the attack.
