Violent Late-Night Attack Shocks Whitstable

A man was brutally hit over the head by a group of youths while walking his dog with his partner on Whitstable High Street around 11pm on Saturday, 25 March 2023.

Good Samaritans Jump In with First Aid

The victim was struck with an unknown object after being targeted with verbal abuse. Quick-thinking members of the public rushed to provide first aid before paramedics arrived. The man was then taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses

“Since the incident we have been making a number of enquiries to establish the full circumstances,” said PC James Tong. “We know that members of the public came to help the victim and would like to speak with them so we can build a picture of the incident and look to bring the offenders to justice.”
