Helicopter Chickens Out Two Suspects in Medway Bike Theft
Police choppers helped nab two blokes in Frindsbury Hill on Sunday, 8 May 2022. The pair allegedly rode around #Medway on a stolen motorbike, but the aerial backup gave patrols the edge.
Two Men Arrested Over Stolen Bike
The arrests came just after 1pm. One man, 20, from #Gillingham, was held on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle that had been taken in #Gravesend the month before.
He also faces charges for riding without a licence or insurance and was “going equipped for theft.” Cops found a screwdriver on him during the arrest.
Second Man Caught with Drugs
The other suspect, 23 and with no fixed address, was taken in for possessing class B drugs after officers uncovered some cannabis on him.
Both Released Pending Investigation
Neither man is currently held, as both have been released while police continue their enquiries.
