Kent Police sprang into action on Wednesday, February 1, after a stolen car tracker activated in Staplehurst.
Stolen Vehicle Spotted Moving
The car was snatched during a burglary in Cliffe Woods on January 25. Initially, the tracker showed the vehicle was stationary but soon it started moving.
Drones Help Nab Car in Gated Compound
Police deployed drones and patrols to the area. They soon spotted the car inside a gated compound near the village. Officers moved in and seized the vehicle.
Forensic Exam Underway to Find Thieves
The recovered car is now being forensically examined to track down those behind the theft.
