Multiple Stabbings Rock Norwich in Early Hours
Police are investigating a violent spate of stabbings across Norwich in the early hours of Thursday, 2 June 2022.
Three Men Stabbed in Linked Incidents
- A man in his twenties was found with stab wounds to his hands at a Howard Terrace home just after 1 a.m. He was rushed to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and later arrested while still in treatment.
- Less than half an hour later, a man in his forties suffered a stab wound to the stomach on Drayton Road. He was also taken to the same hospital and detained in connection with the attacks.
- At around 1.45 a.m., police responded to a Pelham Road property where a 30-year-old man was treated for a minor leg injury before being released and arrested. He’s now held at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.
Woman Also Arrested Over Violent Spree
Police also arrested a woman in her 40s at the Pelham Road address. She remains in custody as officers continue to question those involved.
Police Keep Streets on Lockdown
Howard Terrace, Drayton Road, and Pelham Road remain cordoned off as detectives sift through the early investigation. Authorities believe all the victims and suspects know each other.
