Police hunt man after violent Cromwell Road burglary leaves woman hospitalised
Armed raid shocks Basingstoke neighbourhood
Officers are urgently seeking a man linked to a terrifying burglary on Cromwell Road, Basingstoke, on Friday 28 August. Just after 8.30pm, two masked men armed with weapons stormed an address and violently attacked the occupants.
Woman in her 40s seriously hurt
A third suspect reportedly waited outside in a vehicle as the men launched their attack. One victim, a woman in her 40s, sustained serious head injuries and remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
Suspects fled in white car
The attackers then fled the scene in a nearby white car. Police have released an e-fit of a man they believe was involved and want to speak with him urgently as part of their ongoing investigation.
