High-Speed Police Chase Ends with Suspect in Custody
Just after 2 a.m. on Friday, 3 February 2023, officers tried to stop a motorcyclist suspected of riding a stolen bike. Instead of pulling over, the rider took off, sparking a dramatic multi-unit pursuit.
Reckless Riding Puts Public at Risk

Foot Chase Ends with Helicopter-Caught Suspect
The rider didn’t give up easily — bolting on foot after abandoning the bike. But a police helicopter quickly tracked him to a nearby address, where he was arrested. Investigators found the suspect’s bike and another stolen motorcycle at the property.
A 21-year-old man is now in custody as enquiries continue.
