Hate Crime Horror in Homerton: Man Attacked with Glass Bottle

Detectives are hunting a woman after a brutal early-morning assault in Homerton. At around 5:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 27, a man was walking down Homerton High Street when he was verbally abused and then smashed in the face with a glass bottle by an unknown attacker. The woman fled the scene immediately.

Victim Suffers Serious Facial Injuries

The victim suffered serious facial wounds and had to be treated in hospital. Police are treating the attack as a hate crime but no arrests have been made so far.

Police Release Image and Urge Public to Help

Officers have now released an image of the woman they want to question. They are urgently asking anyone who recognises her or has any information to come forward.
