Hit-and-Run Shocker: Toddler Knocked Down by Motorcycle in Newcastle

Last night at around 8.15pm, chaos hit Kingsway, Newcastle, when a young boy was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the road. Witnesses say a black and red bike with two male riders slammed into the child before the pillion passenger was thrown off. Both men then fled the scene, leaving the boy injured.

Toddler Hospitalised with Broken Arm

The little boy suffered a broken arm and nasty bruises. He was rushed to hospital and is currently under observation. Police have launched an urgent investigation and are desperate to find the hit-and-run riders.

Police Launch Witness Appeal

Authorities are calling on anyone near Kingsway at the time to step forward. If you have dashcam footage or saw anything suspicious, now’s the time to speak up. The crashed motorcycle was last spotted heading towards Fenham Hall Drive.

Police plea: “We want the riders to come forward and anyone with information to get in touch immediately,” a spokesperson said.
