Crash Chaos on Newgate Lane: Four Vehicles Involved in Multi-Car Smash
Police rushed to the scene of a crash on Newgate Lane, near Tudor Lodge, at 10.20am on November 17. The pile-up involved a yellow and red skip lorry, a blue Nissan Micra, a grey Kia Sorento, and a white BMW 2 Series.
Serious Injuries After Morning Collision
The 57-year-old woman driving the Kia Sorento was treated at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, for minor injuries and has since been discharged. However, the 72-year-old man behind the wheel of the Nissan Micra remains in serious condition.
Police Appeal to Witnesses
PC Michael Nol spoke out: “This collision happened on a busy stretch shortly after the morning rush hour. We believe many people may have seen something.”
“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw any of the vehicles beforehand.”
