Multiple Injured in Horror Crash on A31 at Four Marks
A serious smash on the A31 at Four Marks has left five people injured after a collision involving a Mitsubishi Outlander, Citroen C1, and Jaguar XE.
Crash Details and Casualties
The crash happened at around 6.35pm on Sunday, 5 November. The 70-year-old man driving the Mitsubishi Outlander escaped with minor injuries, but his 72-year-old female passenger was seriously hurt.
The Citroen C1’s driver, a 66-year-old woman, suffered life-threatening injuries. Her 49-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The 56-year-old man behind the wheel of the Jaguar XE had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
All four seriously injured victims were rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital for urgent treatment.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sergeant Andy Noble of Hampshire Constabulary’s Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to get in touch. A number of people have been seriously injured and the road was closed for more than four hours while we dealt with this incident.”
He added: “If you witnessed the collision or have any details that could help our investigation, please contact us.”
