Hampshire Police are investigating a strange encounter involving an 11-year-old boy in Baughurst, near Tadley. The incident happened just before 1pm on Thursday, September 29, on Brimpton Road by Hurst Leisure Centre.

Strange Car Stop: Woman Offers Boy a Lift

The boy was walking along when an older blue car, possibly a 1 Zafira with scratches along the passenger side, pulled up. A woman inside honked repeatedly, waved him over, and offered him a lift home.

The boy wisely refused and kept walking. The woman didn’t touch him and then drove off.
