Man Critical After Moped and Taxi Crash in Southampton
Police are urgently hunting for info after a man on a moped suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash just before 3am on Sunday, August 30, in Sholing, Southampton.
The Crash Details
The unnamed rider was on a red Honda 125 moped – with no number plate – when he collided with a blue Toyota Ioniq taxi at the junction of Kathleen Road and Botany Road. The taxi driver, a 32-year-old Southampton man, escaped unhurt.
Witnesses Needed to ID Rider
The injured man, described as a young adult, was not wearing a helmet at the time. Police want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or spotted the rider on the red moped in the area beforehand.
