Man Found with Serious Head Injuries in Gipton Street Attack
A 50-year-old man was discovered with head wounds near the junction of Oak Tree Drive and Oakwood Lane, Gipton, at 12:58pm on Monday (23/11).
He was rushed to hospital by ambulance and is being treated for injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.

The scene was cordoned off for forensic examination and cleared late Monday night. Police are digging deep to piece together what happened.
Police Hunt Lone Male Suspect
Detective Inspector Kevin Daly from Leeds District CID revealed the victim was attacked by a lone male in the street.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this incident. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack or saw suspicious activity nearby,” said DI Daly. “If you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please come forward.”
