Serious Crash on Lister Avenue: BMW Smashes Into Parked Cars
Life-Changing Injuries After BMW Collision
At around 5.30pm on Monday 9 August, a black BMW crashed into two parked cars on Lister Avenue, near the junction with Bowling Hall Road. The driver, a 31-year-old man, suffered life-changing injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Children Also Hurt but Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Three children were in the car at the time of the smash. All were taken to hospital, but thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage
Officers are urging anyone who saw the crash, witnessed the BMW driving beforehand, or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
