Shock in Gateshead: Officer Knocked Over by Electric Motocross Rider
Wild Chase on Wythburn Place
On 5 May at 3.20pm, police patrolling Wythburn Place in Gateshead spotted a man riding an electric motocross bike. When officers ordered him to stop, he did the opposite—riding straight at an officer and knocking him to the ground.
Officer Injured, Suspect Flees
The officer suffered minor injuries but the rider made a quick getaway on foot, disappearing from the scene.
Police Appeal for Help
