Gun Fired Outside Off-Licence in Torre Road Shooting
A masked gunman opened fire outside an off-licence on Torre Road on Friday evening, sparking a police manhunt.
Serious But Non-Life-Threatening Injuries
The shocking shooting happened at around 5.36pm. Emergency services rushed to the scene and found a 30-year-old man with serious injuries. He was swiftly taken to hospital, where his wounds were treated. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Two Arrested After Attempted Murder Probe
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder linked to the shooting. A woman was also held, suspected of helping an offender. Both remain in custody as investigations continue.

Detective Superintendent Emma Winfield of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team said: “This has clearly been a very serious incident in which a victim has been seriously injured. A full investigation is ongoing, and we are appealing for witnesses to come forwards.
