Terrifying Street Mugging in Lordshill: Man Pushed to Ground and £300 Stolen
Shock in Lordshill on Tuesday evening as a man in his 60s was attacked and robbed in broad daylight.
Man Attacked and Robbed on Dolton Road
Between 6pm and 6.30pm on 29 November, the victim was walking along Dolton Road when a gang of four to six youths, all dressed in black, approached him. They shoved him to the floor and snatched £300 from his pocket before making a quick getaway. The man suffered minor injuries but thankfully nothing life-threatening.
Police Hunt for Youth Gang and Witnesses
Officers are urgently appealing for anyone who saw these youths or has CCTV footage from the area to come forward. If you were in Lordshill last Tuesday evening and noticed suspicious activity, now’s the time to speak up.
