Motorbike Robbery on Washington Road: Man Attacked and Held Up for £70
Terrifying robbery unfolded last night (Wednesday 23rd February) between the Esso petrol station and George & Dragon pub on Washington Road.
Man in His 30s Attacked and Robbed
At around 7pm, a man in his 30s parked his motorbike in a layby when he was suddenly approached by another man. The attacker threatened and assaulted him, inflicting facial injuries before snatching £60 to £70 from the victim. The suspect then fled towards Buckland Park.
The victim was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with injuries to his face and hands but was later discharged.
