Woman Sexually Assaulted in Early Morning Horror Walk Near St Mary’s Hospital

Police are hunting a man after a woman was sexually assaulted on the street in the early hours of Monday, July 19.

Attack Took Place Between 5.30am and 7.30am

The victim, walking on foot from St Mary’s Hospital towards Milton Park, was followed and assaulted over her clothing by a stranger. The attack happened sometime between 5.30am and 7.30am.

She is now receiving specialist support following the traumatic ordeal.

Police Seek Man Spotted With Victim

Officers want to speak to a man seen accompanying the woman before the assault. He is described as:

  • Black male
  • Mid to late 20s
  • Short, dark curly hair
  • About 6ft tall
  • Slim to medium build
  • Wearing a dark green top with a yellow collar, possibly a Springboks rugby shirt
  • Grey jogging bottoms
