Tragic Fatal Crash on A33: Motorcyclist Killed at Rose Kiln Lane Junction
On Thursday, April 14, tragedy struck the A33 southbound near Rose Kiln Lane. At around 7.30pm, a motorcyclist slammed into stationary traffic at the junction’s traffic lights.
The rider, a man in his forties, sadly died at the scene.
Police Hunt Key Witness After Deadly Smash
Detectives want to speak to another rider—a man on a Harley-Davidson—who was seen chatting with the victim just moments before the crash. Officers believe this witness has crucial information and a clear view of the incident.
“This is a tragic incident that resulted in the death of a man,” said Detective Constable Nigel Doyle from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Three Mile Cross.
The police are urging the Harley-Davidson rider to come forward immediately. Anyone with information is asked to contact Thames Valley Police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43220161464.
Wokingham Assault and Tilehurst Theft Updates
- In a separate incident, a man from Caversham was arrested after a large police response at a Wokingham town centre pub following an assault report.
