Woman Assaulted Near Dover Pub – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was attacked near The Priory Hotel pub in Dover late on Saturday night.

Attack Between 11.30pm and 2am

The assault happened between 11.30pm on Saturday, November 6, and 2am on Sunday, November 7, 2021, on Priory Station Approach Road. The victim then tried to get a taxi and was driven to Deal in a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

Police were alerted around 2.40am and, alongside paramedics, treated the woman’s injuries.

Man Arrested, Inquiry Ongoing

A 49-year-old man was arrested the same day on suspicion of assault. He remains in custody as officers continue their investigation.

Police want to hear from anyone who was near The Priory Hotel or spotted the blue Vauxhall Corsa travelling between Dover and Deal during those hours.
