Brazen Break-Ins Rock Nottingham Student Flats

At least four intruders forced their way into a communal common room on Faraday Road, Lenton, twice in less than a week. Both raids, one on 26 October at 10.15pm and the other on 2 November, saw them smashing doors but walking away empty-handed.

Damage But No Theft

The vandals caused significant damage to a door inside the student accommodation. Despite the destruction, nothing was stolen in either incident. The attacks have left residents and staff frustrated and feeling unsafe.

Police Hunt Suspect With Released Image

Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a man they want to question. Sgt Neil Langham said:

“Criminal damage is a serious offence that affects people financially and emotionally. We believe this man has important information that could help us.”

Anyone recognising him should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 147 of 27 October 2022, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
