Newborn Baby Found Dead on Norwich Road – Three Arrested
Police were called at 12:35pm today, Saturday 9 December, after a newborn baby was discovered outside a property on Norwich Road.
Tragic Discovery
Paramedics rushed to the scene but the baby was sadly pronounced dead. The death is being treated as unexplained, with a full investigation now underway.
Suspects in Custody
Two men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody as police continue questioning.

A police cordon blocks off part of Norwich Road while officers probe the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Police Urge Calm
Detective Chief Superintendent Jane Topping said: “This is a very sad and distressing incident and, at this time, our investigation into the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death is in its early stages.
“I would urge people not to speculate on social media as to the circumstances of this tragic event.”
