Dog Napping Drama at Brookfield Farm
Three beloved dogs were snatched from Brookfield Farm, West Road, sometime between 7pm on Tuesday 3 August and 7am the next day.
The missing pooches are two Cockapoos named Elvis and Tony, plus a Cocker Spaniel called Remy.
Mystery Car on the Run
Police want to trace a suspicious dark-coloured, older model Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe, or Honda CRV with foreign plates. It was spotted in the area around 6pm on Tuesday 3 August.
Detectives also seek the driver of a small silver car, believed to be a Nissan Micra, and a pedestrian caught on surveillance from Asda in Spondon.

- If you saw the dark SUV or the silver Micra, speak up.
- Drivers with dashcam footage from Acorn Way, Raynesway, or Aspen Drive between 6pm and 6.30pm on 3 August are urged to contact police.
Detective Sergeant Scott McDermott said: “Thank you to everyone who’s come forward. We are now desperate to find the driver of this car and anyone else in the area. They may hold key information.”
“This is a heartbreaking time for the dogs’ owners, who just want their furry friends back home safe.”
