Police Hunt Lewisham Bus Sex Attacker
Detectives are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault on a Lewisham bus. The victim, a woman in her early 20s, says she was attacked on the upper deck of a Route 453 bus in New Cross on Thursday, 2 May.
Incident Details
The suspect got on the bus at around 3.45pm. When the victim confronted him mid-attack, he fled to the lower deck and quickly got off the bus.

- Black man
- Approx. 40 years old
- 6ft tall
- Slim build
- Bald head
Police Appeal
Officers have released images of the man and are urging the public to come forward if they recognise him.
“Anyone with information should contact DC Teresa Moore from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command by calling 101 and quoting Cad 7111/02May19,” police said.
