Police Hunt Man Over Bold Dawn Burglary at Cowes Hotel
Early Morning Smash and Grab
Police are on the trail of a brazen thief who struck at the Fountain Hotel on High Street, Cowes, in the dead of night. Between 3:45am and 4:30am on March 20, the burglar smashed into an office, making off with a safe stuffed with a large sum of cash.
Suspect Spotted Hauling Stolen Safe
CCTV footage shows a man in a hooded top and gloves carrying what’s believed to be the stolen safe in a backpack near Terminus Road. Eyewitnesses saw him skulking around the area just after the raid.
Police Issue Urgent Appeal
