Police Smash Two Cannabis Farms in Scunthorpe
Humberside Police have hit back hard against drug crime in northern Lincolnshire. After tip-offs from locals, the Ashby Neighbourhood Team raided two homes on Ashby Broadway, Scunthorpe, on Wednesday 17 December.
Huge Cannabis and Class A Drugs Haul Seized
Officers burst into the first property to uncover a massive stash of suspected cannabis, class A drugs, and drug paraphernalia. All items were bagged, sealed, and carted off for evidence. A smaller cannabis grow was also found at the second address.
Police Hunt Those Behind the Grows
Law enforcement is now on the trail of the criminals responsible for these illegal operations. A Humberside Police spokesperson urged the public to come forward:
“Enquiries remain ongoing to identify all those involved. If anyone has information about drug activity in your area, or suspects addresses being used for crime, please call 101 or talk to officers in person.”
